Extended Family Fall Portrait Session ::{ Athens, Georgia Photographer }::

I was tickled pink when I got the chance to photograph these amazing people this fall!  This family right here mean the world to me. Here’s why…

Katie and I have been friends since 2008 and over the years we’ve continued in a friendship that has become something beautiful today.  Time has proven that this girl would do just about anything for me. There have been times where she’s been a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, a bridesmaid, a comedian, a sidekick, a prayer warrior… you name it! All adding up to the best qualities of a best friend.

When you become friends with Katie, you are immediately adopted into a friendship with her family. Her parents, Marcia and Rob, are the most loving people who always seem to bring a smile to your face with their humorous and genuine personalities.

When Stanley came into Katie’s life, he immediately was a part of our lives as well. The way that the two of them just fit together like a puzzle piece, is evidence that they were absolutely made for each other.  Last year the two of them were blessed with a sweet baby girl named Willow. You may remember me photographing her newborn photos! Moments when that child isn’t smiling from ear to ear are few and far between. She is the happiest little girl I’ve ever laid eyes on. When she looks at you with those big blue eyes and grins her little grin, you just can’t help but fall in love with her. To see Katie and Stanley as parents is such an amazing thing. They are great, I mean GREAT, parents! I am so happy for them!

Happy Birthday Yavin ::{ Suwanee, Georgia Event Photographer }::

First birthdays are special because it brings loved ones together to celebrate the existence of a special birthday boy or girl. The very first one is like the kickoff to a football game. It’s significant, setting the tone for what’s to come.

Yavin was celebrated for his first birthday right at the beginnings of the fall season in Suwanee, Georgia. It was a festive party filled with the beautiful Indian culture for this gorgeous Indian family. I enjoyed seeing the vibrant colors of the guests in their outstanding garments. I was among so many beautiful people at one time. Just being in the presence of these wonderful people, you could immediately sense the love among them for each other. It was a lovely experience.

Happy Birthday, Yavin! I am so grateful I got the chance to meet you and party with you!

I hope you all have had a fun, memorable, and relaxing summer! It’s hard to believe that August is already here and that the autumn season is fast approaching! In fact, I’ve already had people starting to ask about this year’s Fall Mini Sessions! So I knew I’d better get the word out soon since my time slots for these minis book up so quickly!

It’s a GREAT DEAL that is exclusively offered to a limited number of time slots for families to book—which is why everyone wants to be part of it!  I’m even offering a gift to the first three people to book a time slot! You really won’t want to miss out!

MINI SESSION INFORMATION

• WHEN: Saturday November 12, 2016 AND Sunday November 13, 2016
  • The number of time slots available are limited and they are booked on a first-come-first-come basis. Claim your spot before it’s gone! Here’s what’s available for booking:

• WHERE: Plans are still being made to photograph this year’s Fall Mini Sessions at a pretty park/garden in the Athens area and the Flowery Branch area. More details are to come for the determined location, but just know that I have “pretty fall foliage” and “beautiful light” in mind when selecting the perfect spot.
• HOW TO BOOK: Inquire by e-mail to info@breathoflightimagery.com or call Tara Wilburn at 706-338-6208; include your request for your top 2 time slots, please. Upon your inquiry about your fall mini session, an invoice for the session fee will be prepared and sent to your email address to claim your specific mini session time slot. Process the session fee payment of $60 within 24 hours of receiving the invoice and your mini session time slot will be officially booked. Neglected invoices not paid within 24 hours of receiving the mini session fee invoice will be canceled and will become available to the next committed client. 
• WHAT’S INCLUDED: The Fall mini session include 20 minutes in front of my camera, an online proofing gallery of your fully-edited portraits, and a 10% discount on your print order. Photographs in print form or digital form are not included in the session fee, but are intended for purchase in the gallery.
• DIGITAL FILES: Digital negatives can be purchased in the gallery and are delivered via digital download as high-resolution JPEG files. These files are accompanied by a print release document for your own personal printing. Digital files can be purchased as a complete collection of about 15 images for a discounted total of $225.
• WHO ARE MINI SESSIONS FOR: These mini sessions are perfect for immediate families, children, couples, and even individuals! Groups exceeding 5 people per session are recommended to book a full session in order to receive the full photography experience needed for larger entourages.

With the recent activity concerning the lives of our law enforcement officers, my heart is heavy. My prayers go out to the families that have lost loved ones during these trying times. There’s really nothing I can do to end all this and replace it with world peace. But I can pray. And I can extend my gratitude toward those who diligently work toward keeping us all safe.

From my own experience, I can relate with law-enforcement families. In support of these special families, I’m choosing to offer a discount on digital collections for all families of law enforcement! This sweet little family has just recently been fused together by marriage and they truly make one beautiful group. I’m so glad they got to come visit me at Founder’s Memorial Garden in Athens, Georgia for a springtime portrait session. I can’t wait to see this lovely family continue to grow even closer over time.

Answered Prayers ::{ Athens, Georgia Newborn Photographer }::

Meet my beautiful niece, Ari! Our family fervently prayed that my brother-in-law and his wife would be blessed with a child of their own someday. After putting in a good amount of time into the adoption process, we never doubted God’s working hand. Just a few weeks after giving birth to my own son, Titus, they got the news that a healthy baby girl had already been born and they had been the chosen adoptive parents! Ari’s birthday is just 17 days after Titus’s! Our family has been so blessed to welcome not only one, but TWO babies into the family within the same season. It’s just amazing how God’s timing is so perfect.

I can’t wait to watch these sweethearts grow up together! I just know they will be best buds. Ari-bug has been such a blessing to us. I love her so much! I am so honored to have been her photographer for her very first photo shoot. We even brought my little man into the studio. 🙂

Jones, Party of Four ::{ Athens, Georgia Maternity Photographer at Ben Burton Park }::

Yes! There are two in there! Leah is expecting two sweet little boys this coming October and she is looking absolutely fabulous in these portraits! We first stomped the grounds at a gem of a location—an old abandoned barn! Then, we went on over to Ben Burton Park in Athens for some more visual yumminess! A little background information; I grew up with Leah as our mothers binded us together with their evergreen friendship. We go way back with lots of memories collected along the way. I even photographed her and David this past January when they had their big wedding celebration at the Foundry Ballroom. Now, to document such a sweet and special time in her life is such a blessing. I am so happy for Leah and David and I can’t wait to see what even more adventure awaits for them in the future! I can’t wait to meet Ethan and Owen! They are going to have some really awesome parents.

This family right here is B-E-A-Utiful! Am I right?! I was so lucky to get to spend some time with this amazing family as we got to photograph their portrait session on the old dirt road that I grew up on in Hull. I’ve always enjoyed shooting in my neck of the woods and we definitely got some great shots the other day! With it being Thanksgiving week, Melissa wanted to take the opportunity to have pictures made with her kids while her son was home for the holiday. That being said, she called me up and we made plans! 

Council Family | Jefferson, Georgia Portrait Photographer

In case you didn’t know, the Council family immediately imprinted on my heart since the day we met. I cannot get over how beautiful they are, much less how amazingly entertaining they are to be around. We always have fun during our portrait sessions together and I had been on the edge of my seat for this session for a while. So I took them to a simplistic dirt road scene in Jefferson, Georgia where we could play with different chairs and such as a set up. I started off sketching out this set up before we had met up which made it really neat to see a simple sketch come to life.

This is one growing family right here! Meet the Guilfoil/Montana/Killeen family! The Guilfoil’s graciously invited me into their lovely home residing in the Lake Lanier area. Although this was a very rainy morning, we know that the love shared between these family members showers more abundantly. Therefore, we didn’t let a little wetness hinder us from getting some beautiful photos of this sweet family.
