I am so excited to share this botanical Dallas wedding with you! This was the last wedding of our Fall season, and oh boy was it a good one!

Arriving at Rose Hall for the first time, I knew we had great things in store. It was a lovely, and windy, November day. The sun was shining and the aroma of all the beautiful rose bushes lining the walk ways and the ceremony site aisle were an absolute pleasure. This was my first time ever working at Rose Hall, and I instantly fell in love with this place.

It seems like it was just yesterday that I we were celebrating the engagement of Tiffany and Brent at a relative’s countryside home in Woodstock. I remember hearing of some plans for the big day which had me so excited! Now that day has come and gone. And just like that, these two love birds are married!

Tiffany and Brent, thank you so much for bringing me out to your fantastic wedding. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your love story unfold. Being around such a sweet family was a pleasure. It was such an honor being your photographer. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Hendrix family. I hope you love your photos as much as I do!

Can you imagine life without autumn? I can’t. And I could not imagine life without knowing these wonderful people either!

I have worked with Jessica and Robert time after time after time and this time they included their whole family in this delightful fall family session! Photography sessions with your extended family really bring so much more to your portrait experience because it allows you to obtain a wider variety of portraits with the people in your life that mean the most. To have professional-quality moments captured of grandchildren with their grandparents are priceless heirlooms that will be treasured for years to come.

This gang in particular has a way with me. Mostly because they continually keep me giggling all day long! It seriously is a pleasure to just fellowship with them and share a few laughs. Over the years of knowing these folks, there is also one more unifiable trait they all have in common… friendliness. They are some of the most friendly people on the planet. I’ve never had an experience with them that they haven’t loved on me as if I were a part of the family myself.

Sheena & Cody ::{ Athens, Georgia Wedding Engagement Photographer }::

Sheena and Cody met up with me on this year’s chilly Halloween morning at the
State Botanical Garden in Athens, Georgia for an incredible engagement session. As I photographed the two of them I noticed the one-of-a-kind connection they have for each other. That connection was glowing as much as the colorful fall atmosphere surrounding us. Cody is one of those people who will always keep a smile on your face with his genuine humor. In turn, Sheena has a smile that lights brightens the darkest heart. Now do you see why they make such a perfect pair?  He keeps her smiling. Her beauty graces his heart. It’s a lovely cycle to be on! And is exactly why I like being around these two sweethearts. After knowing each other for over a decade, love has finally won it’s place as they are now planning nuptials for 2017! I am so excited for them and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them as husband and wife.

First birthdays are special because it brings loved ones together to celebrate the existence of a special birthday boy or girl. The very first one is like the kickoff to a football game. It’s significant, setting the tone for what’s to come.

Yavin was celebrated for his first birthday right at the beginnings of the fall season in Suwanee, Georgia. It was a festive party filled with the beautiful Indian culture for this gorgeous Indian family. I enjoyed seeing the vibrant colors of the guests in their outstanding garments. I was among so many beautiful people at one time. Just being in the presence of these wonderful people, you could immediately sense the love among them for each other. It was a lovely experience.

I am simply in awe of this sweet family. Each family group all come from different states of this country, and they have all taken the time to come together as one big family to bond and enjoy each others company. They all stayed at a rental house at Lake Lanier for, what I like to call a “staycation.” And obviously they booked a family session while the opportunity was perfect. I’m so glad I got to be a part of their fun time together. Let this be motivation to us all to treasure the moments of life that we never get back and to cherish our family members with all of our hearts, no matter the distance between. Take the time to see your family members and enjoy yourselves in the midst of generations that define where you come from and what’s to come.
