I was tickled pink when I got the chance to photograph these amazing people this fall!  This family right here mean the world to me. Here’s why…

Katie and I have been friends since 2008 and over the years we’ve continued in a friendship that has become something beautiful today.  Time has proven that this girl would do just about anything for me. There have been times where she’s been a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, a bridesmaid, a comedian, a sidekick, a prayer warrior… you name it! All adding up to the best qualities of a best friend.

When you become friends with Katie, you are immediately adopted into a friendship with her family. Her parents, Marcia and Rob, are the most loving people who always seem to bring a smile to your face with their humorous and genuine personalities.

When Stanley came into Katie’s life, he immediately was a part of our lives as well. The way that the two of them just fit together like a puzzle piece, is evidence that they were absolutely made for each other.  Last year the two of them were blessed with a sweet baby girl named Willow. You may remember me photographing her newborn photos! Moments when that child isn’t smiling from ear to ear are few and far between. She is the happiest little girl I’ve ever laid eyes on. When she looks at you with those big blue eyes and grins her little grin, you just can’t help but fall in love with her. To see Katie and Stanley as parents is such an amazing thing. They are great, I mean GREAT, parents! I am so happy for them!

I hope you all have had a fun, memorable, and relaxing summer! It’s hard to believe that August is already here and that the autumn season is fast approaching! In fact, I’ve already had people starting to ask about this year’s Fall Mini Sessions! So I knew I’d better get the word out soon since my time slots for these minis book up so quickly!

It’s a GREAT DEAL that is exclusively offered to a limited number of time slots for families to book—which is why everyone wants to be part of it!  I’m even offering a gift to the first three people to book a time slot! You really won’t want to miss out!

MINI SESSION INFORMATION

• WHEN: Saturday November 12, 2016 AND Sunday November 13, 2016
  • The number of time slots available are limited and they are booked on a first-come-first-come basis. Claim your spot before it’s gone! Here’s what’s available for booking:

More details are to come for the determined location, but just know that I have “pretty fall foliage” and “beautiful light” in mind when selecting the perfect spot.
• HOW TO BOOK: Inquire by e-mail to info@breathoflightimagery.com or call Tara Wilburn at 706-338-6208; include your request for your top 2 time slots, please. Upon your inquiry about your fall mini session, an invoice for the session fee will be prepared and sent to your email address to claim your specific mini session time slot. Process the session fee payment of $60 within 24 hours of receiving the invoice and your mini session time slot will be officially booked. Neglected invoices not paid within 24 hours of receiving the mini session fee invoice will be canceled and will become available to the next committed client. 
• WHAT’S INCLUDED: The Fall mini session include 20 minutes in front of my camera, an online proofing gallery of your fully-edited portraits, and a 10% discount on your print order. Photographs in print form or digital form are not included in the session fee, but are intended for purchase in the gallery.
• DIGITAL FILES: Digital negatives can be purchased in the gallery and are delivered via digital download as high-resolution JPEG files. These files are accompanied by a print release document for your own personal printing. Digital files can be purchased as a complete collection of about 15 images for a discounted total of $225.
• WHO ARE MINI SESSIONS FOR: These mini sessions are perfect for immediate families, children, couples, and even individuals! Groups exceeding 5 people per session are recommended to book a full session in order to receive the full photography experience needed for larger entourages.

With the recent activity concerning the lives of our law enforcement officers, my heart is heavy. My prayers go out to the families that have lost loved ones during these trying times. There’s really nothing I can do to end all this and replace it with world peace. But I can pray. And I can extend my gratitude toward those who diligently work toward keeping us all safe.

Meet Emily ::{ Jefferson, Georgia High School Senior Photographer }::

If you’re a client of mine, you’ve probably seen this sweet girl hanging out with me on the job. This is Emily. She’s an aspiring photographer making her way onto college (actually already has been taking college courses) to pursue her dreams of owning her own photography business in the near future. I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate her help when she comes to assist me at shoots. If I could only share one word to describe what photographically draws me to this location it would be ‘dimension‘. My favorite part of Walnut Hill, apart from the wonderful landscaping and amazing decor, is the depth of the landscape itself. Looking out across the entire property you can see miles and miles of trees behind the surrounding fields. This will add dimension to your portraits! What does dimension do for your pictures? It isolates the subject (you and your beautiful family) by providing depth between the foreground and background. With the high-quality lenses I use, this is going to create yummy lens compression! Photographing your portrait at the staple walnut tree at the top of the hill (don’t worry, you don’t have to trek at all) is going to provide such a gorgeous aesthetic for you and your family. And just imagine how colorful this place will be when the leaves start turning!

This family right here is B-E-A-Utiful! Am I right?! I was so lucky to get to spend some time with this amazing family as we got to photograph their portrait session on the old dirt road that I grew up on in Hull. I’ve always enjoyed shooting in my neck of the woods and we definitely got some great shots the other day! With it being Thanksgiving week, Melissa wanted to take the opportunity to have pictures made with her kids while her son was home for the holiday. That being said, she called me up and we made plans! 

Council Family | Jefferson, Georgia Portrait Photographer

In case you didn’t know, the Council family immediately imprinted on my heart since the day we met. I cannot get over how beautiful they are, much less how amazingly entertaining they are to be around. We always have fun during our portrait sessions together and I had been on the edge of my seat for this session for a while. So I took them to a simplistic dirt road scene in Jefferson, Georgia where we could play with different chairs and such as a set up. I started off sketching out this set up before we had met up which made it really neat to see a simple sketch come to life.

Family Portraits at Lake Lanier Home

 

This is one growing family right here! Meet the Guilfoil/Montana/Killeen family! The Guilfoil’s graciously invited me into their lovely home residing in the Lake Lanier area. Although this was a very rainy morning, we know that the love shared between these family members showers more abundantly. Therefore, we didn’t let a little wetness hinder us from getting some beautiful photos of this sweet family.

The lighting at Hurricane Shoals Park in Jefferson, Georgia is just absolutely beautiful during the Springtime! That’s why I brought the Schaefer family here for their family portraits. They actually just bought a new house recently. What a great idea to spend some quality time together with us for a portrait session! I’m sure it was a great way to take a break from all the packing and unpacking that dreadfully comes with moving. I am so glad that they chose to spend this evening with me.

This beautiful family made sure to get some amazing family photos taken while they were all together. You see, each of their three sons all live in different areas of the country. One, currently serving in the military. So I don’t blame them for wanting to capture this sweet time of togetherness—especially with the 2 sweet new additions! 😉 It was the perfect time to treat themselves to a photo shoot, and I am so glad that they chose me to be their photographer! My heart absolutely fell in love with this family the moment I met them!  I am so excited for their growing family. And can you believe that Mrs. Julie hand-made those gorgeous outfits for these babies?! What a talent! We photographed their portraits at a little secluded area in their subdivision in Suwanee, Georgia and it ended up being such a sweet little place to make sweet little memories! Please call me, Dallasasse family, when you are all together again! I had a lot of fun with you all and I just have to see those little ones as they grow up!
